Phasedata partners with Twin Tiers Technologies to develop web connectivity for MIMS software. Content is created on the desktop and a business location and sent straight to the website which displays search and display capabilities.
“We have certainly enjoyed our relationship with Phasedata. It has made our MIMS software internet capable and not only provided valuable services to our existing clients but has made us much more competitive allowing us to add many new customers”
David E. Carpenter, President
Twin Tiers Technologies, Inc.
Phasedata and Twin Tiers Technologies, Inc. introduced 2 new products, “e-MIMSManager™ for Web sites” and “MIMS Web™” built around Phase. A revolutionary new product that allows funeral home personnel to effortlessly edit and maintain every aspect of their web site in house. Both products were designed to give total in-house web site control without the user having any programming, HTML or Java knowledge whatsoever.
“e-MIMSManager™ is designed as a stand-alone product for funeral homes that do not have MIMS™ (Mortuary Information Management System) software. MIMS WEB™ is for existing MIMS™ users, it exports key data such as obituary information directly from the MIMS™ database to the funeral home web site with a couple of simple clicks of the mouse.
Online obituaries, calendar entries and more are sent right from the desktop software with the click of a button. Data is sent directly to the website where the web capabilities that Phasedata created allows search and display, among other things, of the information in the form of a beautiful tribute for families. This capability has dramtically improved the productivity and efficiency of the business process. Our clients are delighted with the capabilities which has developed into stronger customer loyalty in every respect.
Phasedata first developed this state-of-the-art software for retail industry web sites. Phasedata President, Anthony Maza realized the potential value of “e-MIMSManager™ for funeral home web sites. Along with Twin Tiers programmers, Maza developed “e-MIMSManager™ exclusively for Twin Tiers Technologies, Inc. According to Maza “Working closely with Twin Tiers enabled us to be successful in creating two easy-to-use, interactive products that can save the funeral home thousands of dollars in long term web maintenance costs while providing the finest custom designed web site available.
“The high cost of making changes to a web site has been eliminated with e-MIMSManager™ said David E. Carpenter, President/CEO of Twin Tiers Technologies, Inc. “For the past 8 years, our philosophy with MIMS™ has been to put the funeral director, not the programmer, in charge of his software. We have maintained that same philosophy with our web site program. Graphic designers work closely with the Funeral director to create the image that best communicates the desired message. Once the site is completed, the user can update information, add links and photos, and edit the entire site without having to come back to us.”A funeral home web site can be a wonderful tool for positively communicating both the funeral home image and the value of the funeral service itself. Statistics indicate the single largest growing user group is seniors 55 and up. Our goal is to assist the funeral director in communicating and serving that community. Through these interactive sites, we can help the director succeed in attracting new business, building better relationships with existing families, and effectively communicating with local and national suppliers of goods and services.
We want our sites to provide our client’s families with quality information that assists them in making an informed decision. Families appreciate getting to know a funeral director, meeting the staff, touring the facilities, and researching funeral cost. By linking the site with MIMS Web™, funeral home information can be updated and easily integrated into the web at any time directly from MIMS™.
